Maintaining compliance with the Government Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission
In July 2019, new Aged Care Quality Standards came into effect. For the first time, Aged Care Regulation, compliance and complaints handling have been brought together.
The new quality benchmarks encourage innovation, excellence and continuous improvement.
The Willows underwent the accreditation process in August 2019 and are fully accredited across the eight standards.
These are those Standards briefly explained. (Click on the link provided after each Standard description – this will then take you to the full pdf document to read further).
